Our favourite pork stew with preserved salted vegetables
Really good coconut ice cream at the Chatuchak weekend market

A stall selling just really tasty deep fried chicken
One of the numerous stalls selling finger food

Starting the day with toast, a variety of freshly made spreads- chocolate hazelnut, passionfruit curd and peanut butter with honey- and a glass of orange juice.

The horrendous traffic in Bangkok- it took ages to get everywhere

Our dining table prepped for dinner

Desserts to round up the meal- a passionfruit curd tart with fresh mango and a warm sticky date and banana pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream

Breakfast before heading to the airport- coconut waffles with slivers of mango and coconut

So I’ve had my Canon Powershot S3 IS for just over three years now. For most of that time, it has sat around the house getting dusty while waiting for me to figure what the million buttons on it do.
I finally picked it up last month, fiddled around with it for a bit and now find that i just can’t go back to my Sony point and shoot.
In the process of exploring the camera’s functions a bit more and taking tons more photos, I’m starting this site as a way of keeping track of my photos as well as looking back on the year visually.
After all, as Tony Benn so aptly puts it- “Most things in life are moments of pleasure and a lifetime of
embarrassment; photography is a moment of embarrassment and a lifetime of pleasure.”
